Manages a portfolio valued at over $15,000, which includes Dewey numbers 000-299, and 600-700; Book and CD Media Kits; Children's CD's and DVD's and Picture Books.
Programs I Developed
2012-Book Expo: First Annual event featuring 40+ authors, and 300+ attendees.
2012- Karate Demonstration: Self-Defense Showcase of Karate skills from a local Karate master and his students.
2010-Urban Bookclub: Began a fiction book club which highlights urban, street, and African American literature in May 2010.
2007-My First Webpage: Gives 3-5th graders their first experience with a webpage in a kid friendly environment.
2005- Mouse Tracks: Familiarizes K-2nd graders with proper use of a computer mouse.
2006-MS Word for Students: Provides young students with basic skills needed to format a report, including copy/paste, opening, closing and saving documents. I taught both Word 2007 and Word 2010 classes.
2004-05- Technology in Early Childhood: Gave a speech at a local community college yearly for three years about the pros and cons of using technology with babies and toddlers.
2001-Present Super Saturday Storytimes: Trained family storyteller, specializing in lively, interactive programs designed to get children to open up and communicate without fear.
